Trailblazer GP A Success!

Cheers to the Women’s Dirt Bike Racing Association (WDBRA) for hosting an incredibly successful event this past weekend! The WBDRA Trailblazer GP can now go down in AMA (and D36) history as the first-ever event hosted by an all-women’s sanctioned club. Thank you to all of the WDBRA club members, volunteers, family, friends, and racers for the support because it sure does take a village!

Special shoutout to WDBRA President, Kelly Gouldthread, who worked insanely hard to make her dream of hosting a race a reality. Also, congrats to JT Baker for taking the win in the feature race at the end of the day, which included some confusing weather of both rain and gusty wind. Amazing efforts by all!

CERA Cancels The Crazy Miner Family Enduro.

The California Enduro Riders Association has announced the cancellation of the 2022 Crazy Miner Family Enduro.  This cancellation is the result or a Forest Service Order closing the Forest to all users in the area surrounding the Mosquito Forest Fire.  This closure extends south to include the Rock Creek Trail System where the Fools Gold and Crazy Miner are held each year.

Looking forward, CERA has secured May 6 & 7, 2023 for their Enduros.  we’re going back to the “Enduro Weekend” with the Crazy Miner running on Saturday the 6th and the Fools Gold running Sunday the 7th.  The clubs success of running Enduros in the spring is is much greater that the past fall events.  We will be looking for a big turnout so plan ahead!  It’s rumored that the Fools Gold will be a re-start format so computers, watches, and roll charts would be unnecessary if this happens.  The format will be announced well in advance.

CERA will also be looking for volunteers to help out.  It’s all on the job training…..no experience necessary.

Thank you for your past and future support of the Club!

This Weekend History is Being Made!!

Come out and race the very first Grand Prix Race put on by an ALL WOMEN’S’ MOTORCYCLE CLUB!,  It’s history in the making as the Women’s Dirt Bike Racing Association is presenting the “Trailblazer Grand Prix” Sunday Sept 18th!

All Racers, young and old, men and woman, boys and girls, are invited to join in this history making event.  Even if your a novice rider there’s a race for you!

District 36 couldn’t be more proud to have this all woman’s club be a D36 Active Member and promoting a race in our new GP series.  The event is aptly named as these Ladies are most certainly true trailblazers!.

And yes, there will be men and kids helping out.  There are few promotors that can host a meet without volunteer help!  Not a racer?….then you can Volunteer too….Just see a club member when you get there!
