
{"id":66538,"date":"2019-04-05T17:26:28","date_gmt":"2019-04-06T00:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/?p=66538"},"modified":"2019-04-05T17:27:07","modified_gmt":"2019-04-06T00:27:07","slug":"action-alert-carnegie-saga-continues-at-april-9th-hearing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/action-alert-carnegie-saga-continues-at-april-9th-hearing\/","title":{"rendered":"ACTION ALERT &#8211; Carnegie Saga Continues at April 9th Hearing!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-66095 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/sri-entrance-sign-carnegie.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"190\" height=\"243\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>On April 9, 2019, the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee will hold a hearing on legislation (SB 767) introduced\u00a0by Senator Glazer which is a new version of the Carnegie bill that we defeated\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>last year.\u00a0 It is not as bad as the earlier version because it does not have us selling the park at rock bottom 1992 prices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>However, the bill is still problematic.\u00a0 It calls for a hearing to review the mission of the park and provides a structure for selling it to local entities for environmental purposes.
