On April 9, 2019, the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee will hold a hearing on legislation (SB 767) introduced\u00a0by Senator Glazer which is a new version of the Carnegie bill that we defeated\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n last year.\u00a0 It is not as bad as the earlier version because it does not have us selling the park at rock bottom 1992 prices.<\/strong><\/p>\n However, the bill is still problematic.\u00a0 It calls for a hearing to review the mission of the park and provides a structure for selling it to local entities for environmental purposes.
