He is currently in stable condition, but he has a long road to recovery ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-72448 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ansonISDE2025.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"241\" height=\"322\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ansonISDE2025.png 600w, https:\/\/ama-d36.org\/archive\/d36\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ansonISDE2025-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 241px) 100vw, 241px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Here\u2019s what happened: after a seemingly minor tip-over in the final moto, Anson was struck by several other\u00a0riders.\u00a0The crash left him with multiple broken ribs, a broken humerus, a fractured scapula, a damaged lung, and other injuries. Incredibly, despite all of this, Anson got back up and finished the moto\u2014helping secure a historic milestone for the United States, as this became the first year ever that every single U.S. racer completed all six days of the ISDE. Even more inspiring, Anson crossed the finish line without even knowing this fact\u2014he did it simply because that\u2019s who he is: determined, tough, and relentless.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Since then, Anson has been recovering in an Italian hospital, waiting until he is stable enough to fly home. Once back in the U.S., his medical expenses will be significant. Anyone who has spoken to, raced with, or worked alongside Anson knows he\u2019s one of the kindest, most selfless people you\u2019ll ever meet\u2014always willing to help others.
