Hangtown National Motocross Volunteers Wanted

Many have worked at Hangtown over the years and know the routine for volunteering, however this year the event will look a little bit different.  Amateur Day will take place May 24th and 25th (Saturday & Sunday) with the Pro Days the following weekend on May 30th and 31st (Friday & Saturday-pro Race).

 

To Sign up to as a worker there are TWO separate forms this year:

One is for the Amateur Days, which are May 24th and May 25th where we will need about 25 flaggers for the amateur weekend.  The Food crew won’t be working on the Amateur Weekend and I don’t believe SAR is needed for that weekend either.

The other form is for the Pro Day where we will need full crews for the Hangtown Motocross Classic, May 30 and May 31.  We will need around 45 flaggers -so if you know people who are able bodied, have health insurance and are over 18, please send them my way, via hangtownworker@gmail.com or share these forms with them (links below). We will provide workers with lunch both Amateur days as well as both days of the Pro racing. We will need proof of Health Insurance for all workers. 

Again…Please note THERE ARE TWO FORMS. One for Hangtown Pro Days and one for Hangtown Amateur Days and if working both weekends Both Forms must be filled out and sent in.  Tickets, bands and camping passes are separate for each weekend event.  Warren Minster is the Inside Track Director and will be working with you all as well as the series Flagger Coordinator.  For Volunteers I will get all the meeting information out to you at a later date when it is all finalized.  As always, we will have the ‘Wheels On The Ground’ crew as well.  If you are any of the other crews, please reach out to the person listed on the form(s) for permission. 

The forms are PDF’s and are fillable. Instructions:

  • Download the form(s) you need to submit and save them
  • Fill them out and if you can, electronically sign them, save the file(s) and email them to hangtownworker@gmail.com
  • OR print them out, sign them, scan them back in and email them to the above address.
  • OR, after printing them, filling them out and signing them, snail mail them to:
