VICTORY! Ted Cabral Wins Seat On The AMA Board of Directors
This morning the AMA has confirmed that Ted Cabral has been elected to fill the Northwest Region 5 position on the AMA Board of Directors! Ted will take office in February and will be a welcome addition to the AMA BOD.

Prairie City Grand Prix Kicking off the 2016 Race Season This Coming weekend
The 2016 Race Season Is Here!
The 38th Annual Prairie City Grand Prix, Round 1 of the 2016 District 36 – SRT Championship Cross Country Series presented by Works Connection and Round 1 of the 2016 District 36 – Motion Pro Championship Youth Cross Country Series presented by Racer Decal and hosted by The Polka Dot’s MC is coming this next weekend to kick off the 2016 race season.
This meet is also round 1 of the West Kenda – SRT Hare Scramble Championship Series. There will be Pro / Adult and youth ATV races included with the kids running the last (exhibition) ATV race on Saturday and the Pro’s and Adults A, B & C classes running the first race on Sunday.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
All racers will need an AMAWHS transponder, D36 transponders WILL NOT work, (do not take existing D36 off they will work side by side with new one)These look just like D36’s transponders and function the same… the cost of the transponders are $5. We designed our Pre-Entry around Covering that cost for you. If you pre-enter you’ll save $10 and $5 will need to go for a transponder.. So PRE-ENTER and we covered you! These Transponders will also be needed for the Other AMAWHS rounds and the 2 D36 rounds being Picacho Creek and Shasta… as mototally is being used for all AMAWHS rounds.
All racers will need to bring their Helmets to Sign Up as we will be doing the transponder checks there.

North Bay MC Brings Back the Crosscut Youth Family Enduro
North bay Motorcycle Club has announced that they are bringing back the Crosscut Youth / Family Enduro in 2016. This meet will become round 2 of the District 36 – SRT Championship Youth / Family Enduro Series.
It will run Saturday April 16, 2016, the day before the Sawmill Enduro, also hosted by North Bay MC.
And for those that want our Enduro meets to show up on your smart phone calendar’s check out this new feature…

If you like riding you are going to love Cross Country racing and a race like this is just epic. Yeah, it’s the holidays but I am counting down the days to the Cross Country season opener the Prairie City GP on January 16th and 17th.
Racers Under The Son (RUTS) Awarding 5 Youth Sponsorships for Spring CC Series
Racers Under The Son North Racing Sponsorship
Racers under the Son North, in conjunction with the Joyce Tsuchiyama Family Fund of InFaith Community Foundation is offering 5 youth sponsorships for the AMA District 36, 2016 Spring racing season. These sponsorship’s will cover entry fees for all 8 of the spring season cross country races. They are available to any youth racer 15 and under and not limited by financial need.
The deadline for applications is Fri January 1st 2016. Submit an essay describing why you race and how racing has impacted your life. Please include your age and the class in which you will ride in spring 2016.
