Cross Country Promotions has advised us that the Oasis Hare Scrambles IS RUNNING this weekend rain or shine. They reported that the course has been designed with the weather in mind.
They are currently out of reach by phone with no phone service while at Oasis setting up the race, so any calls to them will go unanswered.

If you’re attending the District 36 2014 Awards Banquet this coming weekend, January 31st, this year we have some special items to raffle off to raise funds for the D36 LAO. These items will be raffled off in a “Unique Raffle” that will limit the number of people in each raffle to 53, thereby greatly increasing each persons odds of winning. How it will work…Each person entering the raffle will receive 1/2 of a Playing Card for each $20 dollars. The other half will go into a hat to be drawn to pick the winner of that item.

While the Sawmill enduro is running on Sunday, North Bay Motorcycle club is also putting on a poker run on Saturday, the day before. This will be a marked Off-Highway motorcycle course fun 
family ride with no time schedule to keep. Ride at your own pace and collect playing cards at check stations along the way to build a “poker hand” to win prizes at the finish. Bring the family and friends out and have a good time riding together.
Place: Same location as the Sawmill Enduro
Time: Sign-ups open at 7am and first riders out at 9am.

The Rim Fire Closure Order has been rescinded opening roads and trails in Zone 1 of the Mi-Wok Ranger District Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) including Cottonwood Road (1N04) from Tuolumne to Cherry Lake, 3N01 North from Cottonwood Road to Mi-Wok/Groveland District Boundary, 1N01 from North Fork Tuolumne River to the Clavey River, and 2N11 from 1N01 to Duckwall Area. Roads and trails are not maintained for winter travel. Ice, snow, rocks, and debris may be present in travel way.
