This is the last full enduro of the 2014 season so don’t miss out. The Valley Climbers are running a “Q” Format this year so study your District 36 Operations Manual, specifically section 11.3 Brand Q Meets.

This meet is also Round 8 of the Western Checkpoint Endruo Championship Series (WestCheck)!!!

The 2014 Cross Country fall racing season is winding down with only a few meets left so it’s time to get those championship points built up.  Join us at the Oasis for some great racing and support your sport!

The Toby Jorgensen Memorial race held at the Lodi Motorcycle Club was a huge success this past weekend with a total of 149 riders.  The teamwork and efforts put in by everyone producing the event really was refreshing to witness and be a part of.

The Open A Semi Pro event pitted several of the Pro riders competing for the honors. Dominic Colindres 66y led from the start to the finish.  Michael Martin 91, Ryan Foster 23y, Cole Crowley 17y, David Jorgensen 44, Bronson Bauman 30, Ryan Kearns 9, Stewart Barber 38z, Kyle Jones 21z and Casey Yarrow 92 rounded out the top ten.

This event also included the 100cc Nationals race held annually by the Lodi Motorcycle Club.  It is fascinating watching the competition of experienced riders on these small machines as they throw them through the corners and over the jumps.

Ultimately Dominic Colindres 66y won the race.  Rounding out the top ten finishers were Steve Bonsey 80, David Jorgensen 701, Johnathan Pierce 473, Sam Cullom 20s, Paul Polhemus 19, Joseph Hernandez 18, Bronson Bauman 9, Kevin Keeran 61, and Scott Anderson 156.

My favorite class is the 85cc A Mini race.  Hunter Brooks 56 won the race followed by Christian Spurgeon 347e, Evan Souza 63e, Justin Anselmi BP3, Jacob Pursell 1, Dominic DeMario 102e and Tyler Raggio 114e.

These young riders are completing lap times approximately 1 second off Pro rider lap times.  The racing is close, fast and exciting.  We are watching the next generation of Pro riders.

I would like to send out a Special Thank You to all the Racers, Lodi Motorcycle Club, Shirley Holland, Debby Rocha and the many others that contributed to make this event so successful.

District 36 held it’s September monthly meeting in conjunction with the Annual Sanction Meeting on Saturday September 13th.  Please note that due to this there there will not be a September meeting on the regularly scheduled third Wednesday of this month.

Crazy Miner Flyer

New to Enduros?  A Youth / Family Enduro is a great place to start.  For the experienced Enduro riders a good run to work on timekeeping!  Bring your family and friends out to ride the Rock Creek Trail system, including some “Event Only” trails that are not open to the public.  No gate or camping fees and only a short hop over the hill to the 49er Enduro on Sunday.

If you are planning a trip to the Stanislaus Forest soon, this is to alert you that the Forest Service has contracted to replace the Fraser Flat Bridge and this access point will be closed from now until the end of October.  This involves Forest Road 4N01 where it crosses the south fork of the Stanislaus River
