Friday 10:30 additional update:
“We just met with the forest service and they are all good to go with us continuing on with the event. So if you want to post that we definitely have the good to go and should be epic conditions for the event. So. Like Ron said we’re going to start the family Enduro at 10:00 and the Enduro at 9:00.”
Just spoke with the club. Both events are still on. They have been out on the trails this morning, while it did snow last night the trails are currently easily rideable with only a few areas of significant snow accumulation. They expect they will be completely clear with the warming this afternoon and the club traffic checking the markings.
They did NOT have the OK from the Forest Service when I spoke to them but they were talking with them yesterday and they do not anticipate the Forest Service canceling it as it did not reach the level in the rain gauge that would trigger it.
The start of tomorrow’s Family enduro will be delayed by 1 hour to allow the temperatures to rise some before the start. Stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available.
